Did you know that more than a quarter of a million new homes and almost half a million new jobs are needed to support expected growth in King County and its cities through 2044?
As part of an initiative to update the Countywide Planning Policies, King County is inviting residents to review and comment on a proposal to accommodate the anticipated growth and the proposed policies that will shape how our communities will grow.

Learn more about the initiative and the proposals by going visiting: https://kingcounty.gov/depts/executive/performance-strategy-budget/regional-planning/CPPs.aspx (Information is available in multiple languages).
Residents can submit comments on the proposal through May 5, 2021 by emailing GMPC@kingcounty.gov.
If your organization would like a presentation on the proposed policies, and jobs and housing growth targets for King County communities, or if you would like more information, please contact Karen Wolf, FAICP, at Karen.wolf@kingcounty.gov, or 206-713-9649; or Ben Larson, blarson@kingcounty.gov, 206-263-9590.
