The Department of Local Services, in partnership with Camp Sealth, has free slots for family camp (May 2-3) and overnight summer camps on Vashon Island. Camp Sealth, operated by Camp Fire Central Puget Sound, has been creating memories for campers for more than 100 years.
To be eligible, youth and family must:
- Have lower income: Students who qualify for free or reduced lunch.
- Live in unincorporated King County. Check your home address using this interactive map.
- Be able to go to drop-off and pick-up points in Seattle at Pier 56 or Tacoma at the Point Defiance Ferry Terminal.
Contact Kim at Camp Sealth at kimr@campfireseattle.org to register by April 15.
NOTE: Even if the camp website says the camps are full, there may still be slots available for unincorporated King County residents.
