Our team recently installed the last septic tank of the on-site septic system in the Fall City business district.

You heard correctly – the final tank (No. 46) is in the ground!

That means we are that much closer to completing long-awaited infrastructure that will support existing businesses and allow them to fully use their buildings to serve the community.

Since November, crews have worked to install and connect several dozen septic tanks to the underground treatment plant. The project is still scheduled for completion in Summer 2026.

There are still things that need to happen before we can start flushing, which means we have a busy Spring To-Do list:

  • Regrade the alley behind businesses on Redmond-Fall City Road SE between 334th Place and Preston-Fall City Road SE. Expect intermittent closures this week (March 16)
  • Restoration work on Bernard Park
  • Portions of the system are already being operated by the Fall City Septic Association. Full transfer when construction is complete
  • Celebrate!
