Good news, Vashon-Maury Island – our Permitting Division has doubled the number of days you can schedule building inspections each week.

Our building inspection team has expanded weekly on-island service to Tuesdays, in addition to Thursdays.

(Please note: This change applies only to building inspections. Fire and Site inspections will continue to be scheduled on Thursdays only)

The extra day for building inspections gives residents and contractors more scheduling options. It also allows for faster re-inspections when necessary and maintains a regularly scheduled day during weeks when a holiday falls on Thursday.
